Bernard is married to Jacqueline who is having an affair with Robert who pays a call-girl, Barbara, to pose as his wife. Add in a surprise appearance by Robert's actual wife and you have the perfect recipe for one very awkward dinner party! A classic French farce full of slamming doors and comic confusion.
